Medical Transcriptionist

Duties
- Extract medical information from faxes and type into MS word/patient charts
- Transcribe medical reports, summaries, and patient histories
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of transcribed documents
- Edit and proofread transcriptions for errors or inconsistencies
- Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information

Experience/Education
- Bachelor's degree from a 4 year accredited college/university

-Previous experience as a Medical Transcriptionist or in a similar role preferred
- Proficient typing skills with a high level of accuracy
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology
- Familiarity with medical office procedures and practices
- Detail-oriented with the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies

As a Medical Transcriptionist, you will play a crucial role in accurately transcribing medical information from one source to another to ensure the proper documentation of patient care. Your attention to detail and knowledge of medical terminology will contribute to the overall quality of patient records.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
