Role Summary
We are hiring a Discharge Medical Transcriptionist responsible for preparing accurate and complete discharge summaries and clinical documents dictated by consultants. The role focuses on timely documentation, accuracy, and strict confidentiality of patient records.

Key Responsibilities

• Transcribe and format discharge summaries and clinical notes dictated by doctors
• Edit and proofread reports for grammar, clarity, and medical accuracy
• Ensure correct usage of medical terminology across specialties
• Maintain required turnaround time for discharge documentation
• Ensure confidentiality and secure handling of patient information
• Coordinate with consultants and clinical teams for clarifications
• Follow hospital documentation and quality standards

Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate in any discipline (Medical Transcription certification preferred)
• 1–3 years of experience in discharge/medical transcription
• Good knowledge of general medical terminology
• Proficiency in English typing and MS Word
