Location: Ovum Hospitals
Department: Gynaecology & Obstetrics
Experience: Minimum 1–2 years in hospital/clinical transcription (preferred in Gynaecology or Women’s Health)
Qualification: Graduate with Medical Transcription certification preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Listen to and accurately transcribe dictations from doctors, consultants, and specialists in the Gynaecology department.
  • Edit and proofread reports for grammar, clarity, and medical accuracy.
  • Prepare patient case sheets, discharge summaries, consultation notes, and operative reports.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance.
  • Work closely with doctors and nursing staff to clarify dictations or unclear terminology.
  • Ensure timely submission of accurate reports to medical records.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of transcribed records (electronic and physical).

Skills Required:

  • Strong command of medical terminology (especially obstetrics and gynaecology).
  • Excellent typing speed and attention to detail.
  • Familiar with EMR/EHR systems and MS Office.
  • Good listening and comprehension skills.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work in a clinical environment.

Job Title: Ultrasound Assistant – Gynaecology Department

Location: Ovum Hospitals
Department: Gynaecology & Obstetrics
Experience: 1–3 years assisting in ultrasound procedures (OB/GYN department preferred)
Qualification: Diploma/Certificate in Medical Imaging, Nursing, or related healthcare field

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the radiologist/sonologist during ultrasound and Doppler procedures.
  • Prepare patients for scans – explain the procedure, ensure comfort, and maintain privacy.
  • Manage patient appointments and maintain daily scan schedules.
  • Maintain ultrasound room hygiene and readiness.
  • Handle ultrasound reports – printing, labeling, and filing.
  • Enter patient data accurately into the hospital system.
  • Ensure proper handling and maintenance of ultrasound equipment.
  • Support documentation and report delivery to patients and doctors.

Skills Required:

  • Knowledge of ultrasound procedures in obstetrics and gynaecology.
  • Good interpersonal and patient-handling skills.
  • Basic computer and report management skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy OPD setting.
  • Team player with professional communication skills.
