Medical Transport Specialist

Position Overview:We are seeking someone dependable and professional to join our team and represent our brand in a compliant, efficient, and courteous manner. In this role you will be responsible for transporting laboratory samples, documents, between locations, ensuring that all deliveries and pickups are handled securely and within specified timeframes. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely and securely transport laboratory specimens to specified lab.
• Ensure that all deliveries and pickups are completed within designated timeframes and in full compliance.
• Follow all regulatory and safety procedures for handling and transporting laboratory materials.
• Represent PSC professionally in all interactions with clients, medical professionals, and other staff members.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
• Communicate effectively with the laboratory and clients to facilitate smooth and efficient delivery processes.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and current insurance.
• Previous courier or delivery experience preferred.
• Familiarity with laboratory materials and safety protocols is a plus.
• The ability to interact professionally and courteously with clients and colleagues.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to compliance and safety.
• Ability to lift and carry packages and materials up to 15 lbs, with reasonable accommodations available.

Strength Demands: The ability to lift up to 15 pounds or negligible weights frequently.

Physical Demands: Continuously requires vision, hearing, twisting. Frequently involves standing, walking, sitting, and handling. Occasionally requires lifting, carrying, reaching, kneeling, pushing/pulling, bending, and crouching. Rarely requires climbing.

Weather Conditions: Awareness of climatic conditions in Midwest (E.g. cold, wet, snow).
