Job Title: Underwriting Controller (DXB & AUH)
Experience Required:
Experience in UAE for 5+ years.
- Request Client to provide basic Information to provide quote viz:
- Create a lead in CRM portal which is an interface to register all the details of the client for compliance check and management review.
- Census List with Name, Gender, Issued Visa, Marital Status, Relationship, Date of Birth, Nationality, Salary (4,000 or below) or Above 4000/- gross monthly salary
- Table of Benefits current or desired including full coverage details
- Claims report (If available) with information of the policy performance
- Renewal Quote from existing insurer (If available)
- Trade License copy
- Requesting any specific requirements, they need to incorporate under the benefits
- Through the Portals available from ADNIC, SALAMA, NGI, ORIENT, Fidelity United or sending it to Insurer. Would be circulating information such as the client data including their census, existing/desired table of benefits and trade license copy in the market to the insurers and procuring competitive quotes.
- After procuring the quotes at least three to four alternative quotes to the client. Preparing Premium Computation which includes per member premium, Comparison of the available product options obtained & Recommendation based on the best coverage available within the budget of the client.
- Arranging PPT presentation in the corporate for better understanding of policy benefits among employees
- Meeting with the client to explain the coverage and the offering of the insurer.
- For Large Corporate: Send it to Insurers
- Would be circulating information such as the client data including their census, existing/desired table of benefits and trade license copy in the market to the insurers and procuring competitive quotes.
- Obtain various Quotations based on the discussion and requirements of the client from the Insurers desired.
- Give Target Premium based on the market intel and the clients budget
- After procuring the quotes at least three to four alternative quotes to the client. Preparing Premium Computation which includes per member premium, Comparison of the available product options obtained & Recommendation based on the best coverage available within the budget of the client.
- Arranging PPT presentation in the corporate for better understanding of policy benefits among employees
- Meeting with the client to explain the coverage and the offering of the insurer.
- Only once the Compliance check is completed and formal approval obtained in CRM portal, the client will be cleared to be boarded as a client.
- We ask for additional documents such as enhanced KYC of Insurer & EIB
- Get signed & stamped quote and table of benefits along with compliance documents
- Trade License copies (all pages)
- Establishment Card copy
- Broker Appointment Letter
- VAT Certificate
- Active List with complete details such as passport number, UID number, Emirates ID, location of work etc.
- Ministry of Labor List / Snapshot of existing member for JAFZA / DAFZA companies.
- Salary Declaration Letter
- Group Application Form
- Sent to Insurers along with all the documentation
- Follow up for Policy documents, Medical Insurance card, Invoice and Receipt from Insurer
- Get upfront Payment from client - cheque or bank transfer in favour of Insurer only. Cash is not accepted.
- Sent to Insurers along with all the documentation
- Follow up for Policy documents, Medical Insurance cards, Invoice and Payment Receipt from Insurer. Once receipt is available share it with the Finance Team.
