Location: Maytown, PA | Schedule: Full-Time


REQUIRED CERTIFICATION – PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING
To be considered for this position, you must hold a current and valid Medication Technician (Med Tech) certification specifically for an Assisted Living Facility.

Please do not apply for this position if your credentials are limited to any of the following:
  • Medical Assistant (MA) certification
  • Physician office or clinic medication administration experience
  • Hospital-based certifications
  • Any certification, license, or training that is not specifically for Assisted Living Medication Technician duties
These credentials do not meet the requirements for this position and will not be accepted for this role.

As part of the application process, you must be able to provide:
  • A copy of your active Assisted Living Medication Technician certification
  • Observation documentation (as required by your certification)
  • Current Diabetic Education certification

Position Summary

As a Medication Technician, you will build strong relationships with residents while helping them stay safe and comfortable. What You’ll Do
  • Administer and document medications under RN/LPN supervision
  • Provide attentive, quality care to residents
  • Monitor and report changes in resident conditions
  • Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers
  • Perform vital sign checks, including pulse and blood pressure
  • Maintain accurate records, supply levels, and medication orders
  • Support a safe, organized, and efficient unit environment
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and care teams

What We’re Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Completion of Medication Administration training (required)
  • Medication Aide Certification (required)
  • Prior experience in long-term care
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under supervision
  • Calm, professional response in fast-paced or emergencies
  • Strong communication skills in English (reading, writing, speaking)
