Loyalhanna Senior Suites is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Medication Technician (Med Tech) to join our personal care team.

In this role, you will ensure medications are administered safely, accurately, and in compliance with physician orders and state personal care regulations, while supporting residents’ independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

Medication Administration

• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders and personal care regulations

• Document medication administration, refusals, and observations accurately

• Monitor residents for adverse reactions and report concerns immediately

• Maintain accurate narcotic counts and controlled substance records

Resident Care Support

• Assist residents with care needs as directed

• Promote independence, dignity, and quality of life

• Build positive relationships with residents and families

Compliance & Organization

• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure medication cart

• Communicate with pharmacy regarding refills, returns, and discrepancies

• Ensure compliance with medication safety standards and infection control practices

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Completion of a state-approved Medication Administration Program

• Experience in personal care or long-term care preferred

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to communicate effectively in English

• Compassionate, dependable, and professional

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

• Ability to work in a fast-paced care environment
