We are looking for a Member/Senior Member Technical Staff to join our “Platform & Data Services Engineering – Data Platform" org, in Chennai. You will be partnering with senior business, product, technical leadership to do great things. Ultimately your work will focus on building multi-tenet, highly scalable data products and platforms.
You are a developer with extensive hands-on experience in conceptualizing, designing and building high-volume applications, preferably private/public/hybrid cloud environments with some experience building and using large-scale automated test infrastructure. You are an excellent communicator with the capability of quickly picking up the complicated technology space. You are a tenacious, but nimble learner, explorer who demonstrates design & engineering excellence with minimal guidance.
The Team: Platform & Data Services Engineering – Data Platform is working towards building stable, scalable, fast, reliable products and platforms for seamless exchange of data between athena and external systems during various workflows and use cases to support the future growth of the company and delivery of delightful customer experience.

Education, Experience, & Skills Required:
2-5 years of experience in software development role with hands-on
Experience in an Agile development preferred
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
Significant software engineering and Application Development & Deployment hands-on experience
Knowledge & Hands-on Experience of any programming/scripting languages such as: Java, Angular, Node JS, Python, Perl, JavaScript/jQuery
Knowledge & Hands-on Experience with object oriented programming, relational database technologies
Knowledge of working with AWS, RESTful API preferred
Knowledge of working with Oracle/SQL preferred
Behaviours & Abilities Required:
Ability to Explore on own, learn, apply learning and solve problems with no/minimal guidance to achieve the outcome in an agile environment
Ability to work collaboratively on a cross-functional team with a wide range of experience levels
Ability to write quality code that is technically sound, maintainable, performant, scalable, and readable with automated test scripts
Ability to collaborate with business owners/architects to understand and refine business requirements/outcome/purpose
Ability and willingness to demonstrate ownership of an assignment and achieve results
