Overall Scope
The Member Services Specialist role is a dynamic position combining customer service, priming sales and reception responsibilities. The primary duties include monitoring the entrance of the facility, checking in customers, and ensuring a welcoming and secure environment.
Responsibilities:
Greeting and Customer Assistance:
- Warmly greet all customers and visitors upon arrival.
- Provide information and assistance to customers regarding store products, services, and policies.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and courteously.
Security Monitoring:
- Monitor the entrance of the facility to ensure only authorized individuals enter.
- Check in customers and verify identification as per company policy.
- Conduct regular security checks and patrols to maintain a safe environment.
- Report any suspicious activities or security concerns to management.
Customer Check-In:
- Verify customer information and ensure compliance with entry requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of all customer check-ins.
- Assist customers with the check-in process, providing guidance as needed.
Emergency Response:
- Respond promptly and appropriately to any security incidents or emergencies.
- Assist in evacuations or other emergency procedures as required.
- Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency responders if necessary.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with other team members to ensure a cohesive and efficient operation.
- Communicate any security or customer service issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Cannabis and/or sales experience. Reception experience.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and perform routine security checks.
Compensation:
- Hourly Rate: $19 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
