Role Summary

The Membership Consultant will be the first point of contact for prospective members and will drive membership sales for Volt Fitness. This role blends excellent customer service with sales acumen: you will nurture leads, conduct facility tours, explain membership plans, handle queries, and convert trials/visits into signed members. You’ll help uphold the club’s premium brand and contribute to member growth and retention.


Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and engage walk-in and enquiry leads in a warm, professional manner.
  • Conduct club tours, showcase facilities, explain features (equipment, classes, amenities) and articulate the value proposition of Volt Fitness.
  • Explain membership plans, pricing, payment options, promotions, and upsell when applicable.
  • Follow-up with leads (phone, email, in-person) to convert them into memberships.
  • Maintain and update the leads database / CRM with accurate status, notes and next steps.
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly membership sales targets as set by the club.
  • Liaise with marketing/promotions team for campaigns, trials, referral drives and events to generate leads.
  • Collaborate with membership operations for onboarding of new members, setting up demos/trials, facility access, and initial engagement.
  • Resolve pre-membership queries and overcome objections; ensure a smooth process from enquiry to membership activation.
  • Monitor competitor offerings and pricing, provide feedback to management on market trends.
  • Provide excellent customer service: ensure that prospective members feel valued, answer questions thoroughly, provide follow-up and ensure a positive prospect experience.
  • Support member retention efforts (though primary focus is acquisition) by highlighting club benefits, programs and positive community vibes.
