Responsibilities
- Engage with potential members through outside sales efforts, including cold calling and territory management, to generate leads and build a robust pipeline
- Conduct compelling product demos and presentations to showcase membership benefits and features, effectively upselling where appropriate
- Manage existing accounts with attentive account management strategies, ensuring member satisfaction and retention
- Develop strategic business development plans to identify new markets and expand outreach efforts in targeted territories
- Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data for continuous improvement
- Negotiate membership packages and terms with prospects, ensuring mutual satisfaction while meeting sales targets
- Collaborate with marketing teams to implement promotional campaigns that drive lead generation and increase brand awareness in assigned territories
Skills
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technical sales with a focus on territory management and direct sales approaches
- Strong negotiation skills paired with excellent customer service abilities to foster trust and long-term relationships
- Familiarity with CRM software like Salesforce or similar tools for managing sales pipelines and analyzing performance metrics
- Demonstrated success in lead generation techniques including cold calling, networking, and territory management strategies
