Memorial Specialist

The Memorial Specialist plays a meaningful role in helping families create lasting tributes that honor the life and legacy of their loved one. This position guides families through the memorial design process with compassion, clarity, and exceptional attention to detail.

From the initial layout preview through final vendor proof and installation coordination, this role serves as a trusted point of contact for families while collaborating closely with internal departments and external memorial vendors. The ideal candidate brings both empathy and precision—someone who can support families during an emotional time while ensuring names, dates, artwork, dimensions, and design details are handled with the highest level of accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide families through the memorial design and proofing process
• Review names, dates, inscriptions, emblems, and layout details for accuracy
• Coordinate revisions and approvals with families
• Communicate with internal teams and outside vendors on timelines and specifications
• Track multiple memorial projects from concept to completion
• Ensure every memorial reflects the family’s wishes and Green Hills’ quality standards
• Provide warm, professional service during sensitive family interactions

What We’re Looking For

• Strong customer service or client-facing experience
• Comfort supporting families during emotionally sensitive situations
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• High attention to detail and follow-through
• Calm, compassionate, and professional presence
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• At least 1 year of graphic design experience (layout, typography, or design coordination)
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
• Experience in memorials, funeral service, hospitality, luxury service, design coordination, or family care is highly preferred

This is a full-time position scheduled Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional Saturday availability may be needed to accommodate family appointment requests. Candidates must be available to work these days and hours. Flexibility to provide additional coverage on other days, as needed, is highly desirable.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
