Why This Role Exists

Static Hall is built for independent brands. Our shop is growing fast, and we want someone who can anchor that energy. The Melrose district sees serious traffic spikes, and we want a presence that matches it.

We’re not looking for “retail experience only.”
We’re looking for momentum through social media.

This is not a folded-khakis, mall-energy retail job.
This is for someone who looks at a 1994 band tee and knows exactly how it should be styled.

We’re building out the men’s vintage side of Static Hall and we want someone who can move product, move people, and move the algorithm.

You’ll sell.
You’ll style.
You’ll shoot content.

What You’re Actually Doing

• Running sales
• Talking to customers like a normal human, not a scripted robot
• Emphasizing the importance of shopping local
• Filming short form content in store, and a lot of it
• Outfit breakdowns“Would you wear this?” clips
• Quick flips, try-ons, street style energy
• Being aware of your surroundings and keeping the space dialed in
• Driving traffic through personality, not pushiness

The Vibe We’re Looking For You might be:

• Into vintage tees, denim, boots, workwear, sports reworks, or 90s everything
• Comfortable on camera and not weird about it
• Have a heart for local vendors selling their merch

You are not:

• Afraid to talk to strangers
• Waiting to be told what to do every 10 minutes

You’ll Probably Crush This If

• You’ve sold something before and actually enjoyed it
• You understand that content is the new storefront
• You like the idea of building something early, not clocking into something stale
• You have strong presence without trying too hard

Pay + Perks

• Hourly plus performance bonuses for extremely viral content that drives sales
• Commission on recruiting new vendors
• Flexible schedule
