Menswear Graphic Designer

THE MISSION :

Insomnia is an independent fashion brand from LA representing the new wave of youth.

Born in LA, Insomnia has grown to be one of the leading brands in the US for alternative & grunge apparel for both men and women.

We are searching for an apparel graphic designer to contribute designs and graphic prints to our growing collections.

WHO YOU ARE

• Hold a bachelors degree in design.
• Living in LA, within transportation distance to our office in DTLA (Fashion District)
• Want to see your designs in production & sold globally.
• Understand Gen Z / teen fashion culture and style trends.
• Tapped in to social media and fashion.
• MUST HAVE PRIOR EXPERIENCE DESIGNING GRAPHICS SPECIFICALLY FOR CLOTHING.

SHORT LIST OF MANDATORY SKILLS

• Mastery of adobe suite (photoshop + illustrator)
• Understanding of how graphics work on clothing

DON'T APPLY IF

• you don't want to work in a fast-paced environment
• you don't want to responsibility of developing graphics for several collections simultaneously
• you don't have prior experience working specifically as a designer a fashion company
• you don't have prior interest in our niche of alternative/trendy clothing, either as a consumer for personal style, or prior design work
• you aren't located in LA or aren't moving to LA

SALARY

• $45k-$75k / yr based on experience. Ideally looking for 2-7 years experience.
