Fashion Designer

Position Overview:
We're seeking a creative, detail-oriented Fashion Designer to join our team. This individual will help bring our brand vision to life from initial concept through final sample, with a strong understanding of fabrication, fit, and construction. You must have experience designing for women’s contemporary brands and working with overseas production (China/India preferred).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design seasonal collections and capsules aligned with brand DNA
• Create detailed technical sketches, CADs, and tech packs
• Source and select fabrics, trims, and hardware
• Collaborate with factories and sample rooms (primarily overseas) to ensure design execution and fit
• Conduct fittings and revise designs as needed
• Research trends, silhouettes, colors, and market competitors
• Maintain design calendar and deadlines

Requirements:

• 5–8 years of experience in women's fashion design (contemporary)
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Excel
• Strong technical knowledge in garment construction, fit, and patternmaking
• Ability to create clear and accurate tech packs for overseas factories
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Los Angeles area

Bonus if you have:

• Experience with laces, suiting, draping, embroideries
