Mental Health Coordinator

Mental Health Coordinator

Location: Arvada, CO | Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

We know the work is hard. That’s why we make the "everything else" easy.

Working with students who present complex, high-magnitude challenging behavior is some of the most rewarding work in our field—but we also recognize it is some of the most taxing. We believe you shouldn't have to carry that weight alone. At Evoke Behavioral Health, we don’t pretend teacher fatigue doesn't exist. Instead, we’ve built a system specifically designed to help you recharge, stay regulated, and focus on what you love: excellent clinical work.

Current Mental Health Coordinator Openings:

  • EI / Primary / Secondary / Transition Programs: Serving students ages 5 - 21.

How We Support Your "Recharge"

  • Generous Time Off:

Four Weeks of Paid Center Closures: We shut down for Spring Break, Summer Break, and Winter Break (2 weeks) so our whole team can disconnect at once.

Additional Flexibility: Beyond center closures, you’ll receive your own personal PTO and Sick Time, plus paid standard holidays.

  • Zero Billable Quotas: This role is designed to prioritize instructional quality, regulatory compliance, and team support. Your focus is on oversight, coaching, and program integrity - not billable targets or productivity metrics.
  • Strategic Caseload Oversight (5 - 8 Clients): You will maintain a small, strategic caseload to remain connected to clinical practice and client programming while primarily focusing on staff supervision, IEP compliance, and departmental leadership.
  • The "Clean Break" Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-4. No nights, no weekends, and no travel. When you leave at the end of the day, your time is truly yours.
  • Full Administrative Support: Our in-house admin, HR, intake, maintenance, and scheduling teams handle the logistics, so you don't have to manage paperwork on top of your educational duties.
  • Collaborative Safety: You are never on an island. You’ll work alongside highly trained Behavior Technicians, BCBA's, Mental Health Clinicians, Special Education Teachers, a Registered Nurse, and a robust support staff in a facility designed for safety and fun.
  • Flexibility: Opportunities to work from home for IEP oversight, compliance documentation, and instructional planning responsibilities.
  • Professional Development: Dedicated funds for professional development and re-certification—we want you to stay at the cutting edge.
  • Elite Facility: Work in our 48,000 sq. ft. licensed facility featuring a full gym, sensory room, cafeteria, two playgrounds, and expansive outdoor spaces.
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) with match, and HSA options.

Who You Are: An Instructional Clinician

You are a high-capacity Clinical leader who thrives in complex, dynamic environments. You bring professionalism, systems thinking, and clinical expertise to support clinicians and ensure clients receive high-quality, compliant services. We are looking for:

  • A Strategic Clinical Mind: You enjoy analyzing client data, strengthening IEP implementation, and identifying opportunities to improve systems. You can pivot supports with clarity and precision when client needs or compliance demands shift.
  • High-Level Professionalism: You lead by example. Whether collaborating with BCBAs and Mental Health providers, coaching clinicians, or communicating with families and districts, you hold yourself and your team to high ethical, instructional, and compliance standards.
  • Leadership Presence: You have the composure and resilience required to supervise teams and navigate challenging conversations. You are a steady, solutions-oriented presence who builds trust while maintaining accountability.
  • Motivation and Drive: You are motivated by client progress, staff development, and strong program systems. You are driven by high standards for clinical quality, documentation accuracy, and team growth.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Colorado independent license LCSW or LPC, or equivalent required.
  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of related clinical experience.
  • 2+ years of supervision experience.
  • 1+ years of experience working with individuals with intellectual / developmental disabilities required.
  • DBT, ACT, and/or ABA experience preferred.

We're excited for you to join us on our mission of: Improving the lives of underserved people and those who care for them, for a more caring and inclusive Colorado.

About Us:

Evoke Behavioral Health is a licensed Day Treatment Program providing year-round specialized educational and therapeutic services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and co-occurring diagnoses. Evoke Behavioral Health is a locally owned organization.

We have expanded our services to include children from Pre-K through 12th grade (previously ages 8-18) and are currently hiring a Mental Health Coordinator to support our Mental Health team in our new growth. Our interdisciplinary team includes BCBAs, LCSWs, Special Education Teachers, RBTs, Educational Assistants, Mental Health Assistants, and a large number of graduate students working across our departments. In addition to our comprehensive clinical team, we have on-site administrative, human resources, and maintenance support to ensure a safe and effective work environment.
