This role allows you to combine creativity, strategy, and community-building to support

life-changing mental health services.

We are seeking a Marketing & Community Events Coordinator who will lead efforts in SEO,

blogs, social media, and community outreach. This person will also play a key role in

recruitment marketing to help bring new talent into our practice. The ideal candidate is

passionate about supporting access to therapy, eager to build relationships, and skilled at creating campaigns that inspire action.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing

● Develop and implement digital marketing strategies, including SEO, social media, and

blog management, to increase visibility and engagement.

● Write, edit, and distribute content for digital and print platforms, including newsletters,

blogs, and promotional materials.

● Maintain and grow the organization’s online presence through consistent branding,

messaging, and storytelling.

● Track marketing analytics and provide actionable insights for growth.

Events & Community Engagement

● Identify, plan, and attend community vendor events, health fairs, and partnership

opportunities that align with the organization’s mission.

● Coordinate logistics for community events, including vendor relationships, promotion,

and day-of execution.

● Represent the organization as a public-facing ambassador, building strong relationships

with local organizations and community partners.

● Provide follow-up after events, including communications, reporting, and relationship

cultivation.

Recruitment Support

● Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute recruitment marketing strategies for

new therapists and staff.

● Promote open positions across social media, networking events, and relevant job boards.

● Build connections in the community that support both client growth and employee

recruitment.

Compensation

● As a 1099 contractor, compensation starts at $25/hour and increases depending on

candidates experiences, training, etc.

● Ability to work approximately 20 hours per week, with some variance depending on need.

Requirements

● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or related field

(preferred).

● 2–5 years of experience in marketing, community engagement, or event management.

● Reside in the Metro Detroit or Ann Arbor area

● Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and

message for different audiences.

● Creative, detail-oriented, and collaborative team player.

● Experience with SEO, social media management, and digital content creation.

● Proficiency in tools such as Google Suite, Canva, Squarespace, etc

● Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends for events.

● Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced

environment.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Base Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
