Job Overview
Optimal Behavioral Health Services, LLC is seeking to immediately hire a licensed or provisionally licensed therapist (LGPC, LMSW, LCPC, LCSW-C, LCMFT) to join our growing outpatient mental health practice.

The position offers immediate client referrals, flexible scheduling, and administrative support. Supervision toward licensure is available.

The therapist will work in an outpatient private practice via in-person and through telehealth platforms, ensuring accessible care for all clients. A strong background in clinical counseling and a commitment to patient-centered care are essential for success in this position.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-10 coding standards.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, somatic therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
  • Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions focusing on issues like trauma (PTSD), grief, and addiction prevention.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical terminology standards.
  • Facilitate intake procedures for new patients and contribute to case management efforts for ongoing patient support.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling Psychology or related field from an accredited institution.
  • Valid licensure or certification as a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent credential.
  • Proven experience with psychotherapy techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, grief counseling, addiction counseling, and crisis intervention.
  • Familiarity with ICD-9/ICD-10 coding systems and medical terminology relevant to behavioral health documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations concerning medical records and patient confidentiality.
  • Telehealth experience is highly desirable to provide remote mental health services effectively.
  • Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments using diagnostic tools; experience with diagnostic evaluation is essential.
