Job Overview
True North Integrative Clinic is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and team-oriented Mental Health Therapist (LCSW preferred; LMSW encouraged to apply) to join our growing multidisciplinary team.
At True North, we believe in integrative, collaborative care. Our clinic includes psychology, psychiatric services, speech-language therapy, occupational therapy, and mental health counseling — all under one roof. Many families describe us as a “one-stop support system.”
This position provides the opportunity to work primarily in-person with children, adolescents, and adults in a supportive environment with strong referral flow, administrative support, and clinical collaboration.
We are happy to support and mentor LMSWs working toward independent licensure.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations using DSM-5-TR criteria and ICD-10 coding
- Provide individual, family, and occasional group therapy using evidence-based modalities (CBT, solution-focused therapy, strengths-based approaches, trauma-informed care, etc.)
- Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with client goals
- Provide crisis support and safety planning when clinically indicated
- Maintain timely, audit-ready documentation in our EHR system (HIPAA compliant)
- Collaborate with our in-house psychiatric provider, psychologist, speech therapists, and occupational therapists for coordinated care
- Participate in case consultation and team collaboration meetings
- Deliver services primarily in person, with telehealth as appropriate
Who We’re Looking For
- Active LCSW or LMSW license in North Dakota
- Strong desire to work in-person with clients ages 6+
- Experience working with children and adolescents preferred
- Comfortable managing a caseload of approximately 6–8 clients per day
- Strong documentation and time-management skills
- Passion for collaborative, multidisciplinary care
- Warm, engaging presence with families

- Behavioral concerns in children and teens
