MEP AutoCAD Draughtsmen

Universal BIM & CAD Technical Services L.L.C. is currently seeking experienced MEP AutoCAD Draughtsmen for immediate placement in our ongoing projects across Dubai. This position is ideal for professionals with a strong background in HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical drafting, who are already based in the UAE and ready to join immediately.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and coordinated 2D MEP shop drawings using AutoCAD
• Draft layouts for HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and electrical systems
• Interpret consultant and engineer markups and convert design intent into precise drawings
• Work with engineers and BIM teams to ensure coordination across all MEP disciplines
• Modify drawings as per red-line markups, site conditions, or client feedback
• Ensure compliance with local codes, project specifications, and UAE standards
• Support site teams by providing updated and accurate shop drawings for execution

Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of MEP drafting experience in the UAE or GCC
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting) is mandatory
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems: HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, and electrical
• Experience working on commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects
• Familiarity with MEP coordination and clash resolution
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Must be based in the UAE and available for immediate joining
