MEP BIM Administrator

The MEP BIM Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and managing the Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems within construction projects. They collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to develop and maintain accurate BIM models that integrate the MEP systems. The MEP BIM Coordinator ensures the models are clash free, up to date, and aligned with project specifications. They must have a strong understanding of MEP systems, BIM software, and excellent coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the MEP BIM processes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain accurate 3D models of MEP systems using BIM software.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to integrate MEP systems into the overall building design.
• Identify and resolve clashes and conflicts within the BIM models.
• Ensure the BIM models comply with project specifications and industry standards.
• Generate and communicate accurate and up-to-date drawings, schedules, and reports.
• Conduct regular quality checks to ensure the integrity and accuracy of the BIM models.
• Stay updated on emerging BIM technologies and best practices.

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field.
• years in MEP coordination or BIM coordination is preferred.
• Proficiency in BIM software, such as Revit, Navisworks, or AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, codes, and standards.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and problem solving skills.
