MEP Coordinator

Detailed Roles & Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and monitor all MEP works, ensuring compliance with design drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
• Review and comment on MEP shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
• Liaise between the MEP subcontractors and site teams to resolve issues.
• Ensure that all MEP works are integrated smoothly with civil and architectural works.
• Monitor MEP progress and ensure timely completion in line with the overall project schedule.
• Identify and address any discrepancies or conflicts in MEP designs and installations.
• Support procurement by reviewing technical specifications and ensuring timely delivery of MEP materials and equipment.
• Prepare and submit regular progress reports to the project management team.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical input where necessary.

Competencies:

• Experience: Minimum 7 years experience, preferably in Civil Construction Industry.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Strong background in handling MEP systems in commercial, residential, or industrial construction projects.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction and engineering drawings
• Detail-oriented and technically sound with good communication skills.
• Proactive, head strong & motivated with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent command in English (speaking and writing)
