Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced MEP Coordinator to join a leading construction team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in residential building and villa projects, with the ability to coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing activities from design stage to project handover while ensuring compliance with Dubai authority regulations and project standards. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate all MEP activities with civil, architectural, and structural teams
• Review shop drawings, coordination drawings, material submittals, and method statements
• Ensure MEP works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules
• Conduct clash detection and coordination using BIM/MEP tools
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to resolve technical issues
• Monitor site progress, quality standards, and safety compliance
• Coordinate inspections and approvals with Dubai authorities such as DEWA, DCD, and Dubai Municipality
• Support testing, commissioning, and project handover activities
• Prepare progress reports and maintain project documentation
• Ensure timely completion of MEP works within project deadlines and budgets (Indeed)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 5–10 years of UAE experience as an MEP Coordinator
• Strong experience in residential buildings and villa projects in Dubai
• Good knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and ELV systems
• Familiarity with Dubai authority regulations and approvals
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and Navisworks preferred
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and site activities efficiently
• Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods preferred (Bayt.com)
