MEP Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities Develop complete MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) system designs and engineering drawings. Prepare HVAC design, including heat load calculations, equipment selection, ducting layouts, and piping layouts. Perform electrical load calculations, SLD preparation, lighting layouts, power layouts, and earthing system design. Prepare plumbing, drainage, fire-fighting system design and schematic drawings. Review architectural/structural drawings and ensure clash-free coordination across all MEP services. Prepare BOQs, specifications, technical submittals, and equipment schedules. Ensure compliance with IS Codes, NBC, local authority norms, and industry standards. Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and project teams for design inputs and technical support. Support project execution teams during installation, testing & commissioning. Conduct technical meetings with clients and provide design clarifications. Ensure timely delivery of all design drawings and documentation. --- Required Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting systems. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office; knowledge of HAP/TRACE, Revit MEP, or E-Plan is an advantage. Good understanding of Indian codes and standards. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills. Ability to manage multiple design tasks and meet deadlines. --- Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Diploma candidates with strong experience may also be considered.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
