MEP Draftsman (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing)

An MEP Draftsman prepares detailed technical drawings and plans for building systems like HVAC, electrical wiring, and plumbing using CAD software.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed drawings for:
• HVAC systems (ducting, ventilation)
• Electrical layouts (lighting, power)
• Plumbing & drainage systems
• Use software like AutoCAD and sometimes Revit
• Interpret engineering designs and convert them into technical drawings
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and site teams
• Revise drawings based on site changes or client requirements
• Ensure drawings follow local standards (e.g., Dubai regulations)

Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of MEP systems
• Proficiency in:
• AutoCAD
• Revit (preferred)
• Understanding of construction drawings and symbols
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Drafting
• 2–5 years experience (typical requirement in UAE)

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
