MEP Draftsman

Job description An MEP Draftsman prepares accurate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings for building and construction projects, usually using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar drafting software. Typical responsibilities - Prepare detailed MEP drawings for HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, lighting, power, and ELV systems. - Update drawings based on engineer comments, consultant revisions, and site changes. - Coordinate MEP layouts with architectural and structural drawings to avoid clashes. - Produce plans, sections, elevations, schematics, riser diagrams, panel layouts, and coordination drawings. - Support quantity takeoff, material estimation, and project documentation when required.

Required skills 1. Strong AutoCAD knowledge, familiarity with Revit or BIM, and the ability to read engineering drawings and standards.

2. Attention to detail, good communication, and understanding of MEP codes, safety standards, and installation methods.
