MEP Draftsman

We are seeking a skilled and motivated MEP Draftsman with 2–4 years of relevant experience in MEP drafting and coordination. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of AutoCAD and MEP systems, with the ability to prepare accurate shop drawings, as-built drawings, and coordination drawings in accordance with project requirements. Candidates who are available to join immediately will be given preference.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Prepare detailed drawings of MEP and engineering designs from sketches and specifications.
• Collaborate with MEP engineers, and other professionals to incorporate design requirements into drawings.
• Review and revise drawings to meet project specifications and standards.
• Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create and modify drawings.
• Ensure that drawings are accurate, detailed, and contain all necessary information for construction or manufacturing.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of building codes, industry standards, and materials.
• Manage documentation and filing systems for drawings and project records.
• Conduct site visits to gather data and verify design specifications are being met.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders.

Draftsman Qualifications & Skills

• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks.
• Experience with building information modeling (BIM) software.
• Strong understanding of MEP and engineering principles.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Knowledge of relevant building codes and industry standards.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Associate's degree or certification in drafting, engineering technology, or a related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software.
• Strong mathematical and technical skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and MEP/ architectural drawings.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: AED11,000.00 - AED13,000.00 per month
