Job Title: MEP Draftsman (Mechanical / Electrical)

Salary Range: AED 4,000 – 5,500 per month (Negotiable)

Job Purpose

To prepare, review, and update technical drawings and layouts for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems as part of facilities management and construction projects. Ensure all drawings are accurate, compliant with standards, and support operational, maintenance, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D/3D drawings for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works using AutoCAD/Revit or equivalent software.
• Develop shop drawings, as-built drawings, and layouts for installation and maintenance purposes.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and site supervisors to implement drawing changes.
• Ensure all drawings comply with local authority codes, safety standards, and company procedures.
• Maintain updated drawing logs and document control systems.
• Assist in preparing technical submittals and project documentation.
• Support FM teams in producing layouts for renovations, modifications, and maintenance work.
• Review design inputs and highlight discrepancies or clashes.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or relevant technical field.
• 3–5 years of experience as an MEP Draftsman (experience in Facilities Management is a strong advantage).
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other drafting software.
• Knowledge of MEP systems, layouts, and building services.
• Familiarity with UAE codes and standards (DEWA, ADDC, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drawings.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with engineers, FM staff, and site teams.

Working Conditions

• Based at office and project sites as required.
• 6-day working week (depending on company policy).
• May involve coordination visits to client locations or construction sites.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,500.00 per month
