MEP Draughtsman

QBuild Construction Co. LLC is urgently seeking a skilled and experienced MEP Draftsman to join our growing team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of hands-on drafting experience within the GCC region, with a strong understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems for residential and commercial construction projects.

Key responsibilities

Prepare and develop detailed MEP drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit MEP

Coordinate with MEP engineers, site teams, and consultants to ensure drawings are accurate and up to date

Interpret and review architectural, structural, and MEP design drawings to produce coordinated construction documents

Prepare and submit drawings for consultant review and approval in accordance with project requirements

Maintain drawing register, revision control, and document management in line with project procedures

Identify and highlight clashes or conflicts between MEP disciplines and coordinate resolution with the engineering team

Support the preparation of material submittals and technical documentation as required

Requirements

Minimum 4 years of MEP drafting experience in the GCC — UAE experience strongly preferred

Diploma or degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or Drafting Technology

Proficient in AutoCAD (mandatory) — Revit MEP and BIM experience is a strong advantage

Solid understanding of MEP systems — HVAC, plumbing, drainage, electrical, and fire fighting

Familiarity with Dubai Municipality, DEWA, and DCD drawing standards and submission requirements

Ability to read and interpret engineering specifications and technical documents

Good communication skills in English — Arabic is an advantage

Must be available to join immediately or within short notice
