MEP Draughtsman

The Role

• Prepare detailed MEP shop drawings (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing & Firefighting) based on design drawings and project specifications. • Develop coordinated MEP layouts to avoid clashes with architectural and structural elements. • Produce schematic diagrams, riser diagrams, and detailed sections. • Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Engineers to ensure accuracy of drawings. • Ensure drawings comply with local authority regulations and international standards. • Utilize AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or other BIM software for drafting and model

Requirements

• Strong technical drawing and detailing skills. • Excellent coordination and communication abilities. • Good understanding of building construction processes. • Diploma or Technical Certification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field. • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in MEP drafting for building construction projects. • Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting, and Electrical systems. • Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory); Revit/BIM experience preferred. • Familiarity with local building codes and authority requirements.
