MEP DRAUGHTSMAN CUM DOCUMENT CONTROLLER

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MEP Draughtsman cum Document Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing MEP drawings (HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting, and Electrical) in accordance with project specifications and coordinating the flow of documents and records throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:Draughtsman Duties:

• Prepare detailed MEP shop drawings and as-built drawings using AutoCAD and other relevant software.
• Coordinate with engineers and project teams to incorporate design changes and resolve clashes.
• Maintain drawing logs and ensure all drawings are up to date and comply with project standards.
• Assist in quantity take-offs and preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ) as required.
• Conduct site visits when necessary to ensure drawings reflect actual site conditions.
• Ensure drawings comply with local authority regulations and project specifications.

Document Control Duties:

• Manage and maintain the document control system to ensure all technical documents and correspondence are properly filed and accessible.
• Track and monitor document status and distribution.
• Ensure document numbering and revision control procedures are strictly followed.
• Distribute incoming and outgoing documents as per the distribution matrix.
• Assist in compiling project handover documentation, O&M manuals, and final as-built submissions.
• Support project teams in adhering to company and client documentation procedures.
