MEP Electrical Engineer

Job Description:

We seek an experienced MEP Engineer (Electrical) to join our modular construction company. The successful candidate will design and plan all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems for various projects, including single, joined, complex, and hybrid structures.

This role also includes overseeing the integration of these systems into the overall site, i.e., external MEP details.

The ideal candidate must be proficient in using REVIT and have a solid understanding of the building code requirements in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and plan all MEP systems for modular structures, including single, joined, complex, and hybrid structures.
• Ensure that the designs meet the requirements of UAE building codes.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to integrate MEP systems into project designs.
• Oversee the integration of MEP systems into the overall site, including external details.
• Use REVIT to create detailed designs and plans.
• Collaborate with other engineers and professionals on the team to improve operations and efficiency.
• Provide technical advice, troubleshoot issues, and resolve any emerging problems.
• Ensure all works are carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines, and regulations.
• Aid Project team in project Close-out documentation and QC Checks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, MEP.
• Proven experience as an MEP Engineer in the construction industry, preferably with experience in modular construction.
• Proficiency in using REVIT is a must.
• Familiarity with UAE building codes and regulations.
• Strong problem-solving, technical, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
