Job Summary
The MEP & Electrical Supervisor is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and inspecting all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works with a strong focus on electrical systems. The role ensures that installations, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities comply with project specifications, safety standards, local codes, and healthcare/hospitality operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
MEP & Electrical Supervision
- Supervise day-to-day electrical and MEP site activities for hotels, resorts, spas, wellness centers, and hospitals
- Ensure correct installation of:
- Power & lighting systems
- LV systems (fire alarm, BMS, CCTV, access control, nurse call, data/telecom)
- Earthing & lightning protection systems
- Coordinate electrical works with HVAC, plumbing, medical gas, and other MEP disciplines
Project Coordination
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors, and vendors
- Review MEP drawings, shop drawings, and method statements
- Identify clashes and support resolution during site execution
- Monitor work progress and report delays or issues
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with:
- Local electrical codes and authority regulations
- Hospital and healthcare standards (infection control, redundancy, critical power)
- Hospitality brand standards (guest safety, aesthetics, comfort)
- Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning activities
- Maintain inspection checklists and quality records
Safety & Risk Management
- Enforce HSE policies and site safety rules
- Ensure safe working practices around live systems and critical hospital areas
- Participate in toolbox talks and safety audits
Maintenance & Operations (if applicable)
- Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems
- Respond to electrical faults and emergencies
- Ensure uninterrupted power supply in critical areas (ICU, OT, wellness treatment rooms)
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain daily site reports and progress logs
- Assist in as-built drawings and handover documentation
- Support testing, commissioning, and final project handover
Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in MEP or electrical supervision
- Proven experience in:
- Hotels, resorts, spas, or wellness projects
- Hospitals or healthcare facilities (strong advantage)
- Experience with critical power systems, UPS, generators, and fire alarm systems
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of electrical and MEP systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Good leadership and team supervision skills
- Problem-solving and coordination abilities
- Familiarity with BMS and low-current systems
- Good communication and reporting skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
Expected hours: 55 per week
