Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a qualified and detail-oriented MEP Engineer to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical design, with the ability to generate accurate and coordinated MEP drawings. Proficiency in both HVAC design software and electrical calculation tools is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and coordinate complete MEP systems (HVAC, plumbing, and electrical) for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects
• Prepare detailed MEP drawings, schematics, and layouts using AutoCAD, and preferably Revit
• Perform HVAC load calculations using HAP (Hourly Analysis Program), Carrier E20-II, or similar tools
• Conduct electrical load calculations using software such as ETAP, Dialux, Ecodial, or Calculux
• Select appropriate equipment and ensure accurate sizing of ductwork, piping, cabling, and circuit protection
• Ensure full compliance with UAE regulations, local authority requirements (e.g., DEWA, Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense), and international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, etc.)
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to ensure integrated design
• Support in preparing authority submission documents and revising designs as needed
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and attend site inspections when necessary

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in MEP design within the UAE or GCC region
• Proficient in AutoCAD; working knowledge of Revit (preferred)
• Proficient in HVAC design software:
• HAP (Hourly Analysis Program)
• Carrier E20-II, Elite Software, or equivalent
• Proficient in Electrical design software:
• ETAP, Dialux, Ecodial, or Calculux
• Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and low/medium voltage systems
• Familiar with UAE authority submission procedures and relevant building codes
• Excellent coordination and communication skills

Preferred (but not required):

• Experience with BIM workflows and Revit MEP
• Knowledge of green building regulations (LEED, Estidama, Al Sa’fat)
• UAE driving license

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: AED2,400.00 - AED3,600.00 per month
