Pure water is currently seeking MEP Engineer to support on a construction supervision project involving water infrastructure, sewers, water pipelines and water reservoirs.

- Experience working on industrial & Infrastructure projects

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering

- Previous experience in UAE as an MEP Engineer in multi hundred million project

- Knowledge of the modern methods, techniques and materials used in construction

- Experience in MEP engineering practices, plans and technical specifications

- Knowledge of applicable codes.

- Excellent communication skills (oral, written and interpersonal).

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Review and interpret mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) drawings, specifications, and design documents.
  • Supervise and coordinate MEP installation works at the site to ensure proper execution according to approved drawings.
  • Manage and monitor subcontractors to ensure work quality and timely completion.
  • Coordinate between different disciplines (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, civil) to avoid clashes and rework.
  • Participate in site coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure MEP works meet approved shop drawings and specifications.
  • Check materials and equipment delivered on-site for quality and compliance with submittals.
  • Ensure that testing and commissioning procedures are properly implemented and documented.
  • Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and highlight potential issues affecting timelines.
  • Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
  • Maintain updated records of inspections, test results, and as-built drawings.
  • Assist in preparing quantity take-offs and MEP cost estimates.
  • Support the project manager in monitoring project schedules and budgets related to MEP works.
  • Identify potential variations or delays and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure all MEP works are performed following safety standards and procedures.
  • Conduct toolbox talks or safety briefings related to MEP activities.
  • Supervise testing and commissioning of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Prepare final inspection reports and assist in obtaining consultant/client approvals.
  • Support the preparation of operation and maintenance (O&M) manuals and training for client representatives.
  • Coordinate with architects and structural engineers to ensure MEP systems align with overall project design.
  • Prepare design calculations, technical layouts, and equipment sizing based on project requirements and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with local codes, standards and safety regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED5,000.00 per month
