MEP Engineer

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced MEP Engineer to design, review, and supervise mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for construction projects. The candidate should have strong expertise in MEP design, site supervision, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with international codes and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

l Responsible for on time co-ordination of MEP activities as per design and project schedule, cost, quality & safety in interior field.

l In-charge for overseeing and managing the execution, Testing & Commissioning of HVAC, Mechanical, Plumbing and Electrical works.

l Ensure the MEP work carried out is as per approved shop drawing and within the time frame and progress of the approved construction program.

l Ensure that the installation, inspection and testing of all the MEP equipment, fittings and work implemented meets the specification and the consultant requirements.

l Verify the accuracy of shop drawings and their compliance to the specification, consultant s design and existing local authority standard. # Review consultant s design and specification

l Complete responsibility to decide on day-to-day work that needs to be carried out by contractors including scheduling of activities, assigning task to groups or individuals, accuracy of work conducted, supplying resources and dealing with operational issues and problems.

l Coordinate with other project personnel to ensure that deadlines, procedures, and other project requirements are met.

l Coordination with architects, MEP consultant and contractors

l Project planning, Site inspection and site coordination

l Certification of contractor’s billing

l Weekly & Monthly report preparation

Qualifications & Experience:

l Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.

l Min 2 years of experience in MEP design and site supervision.

l Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory); knowledge of Revit MEP is a plus.

l Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems in construction projects.

l Familiarity with international MEP codes and standards.

l Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
