Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Engineer to oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of building services systems. The ideal candidate will ensure that all MEP systems are efficient, compliant with codes, and delivered within project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, plan, and coordinate MEP systems for commercial and residential projects.
- Review and approve MEP drawings, specifications, and calculations.
- Conduct site inspections and supervise installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems.
- Perform troubleshooting and provide solutions for operational issues in MEP systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, local codes, and regulations.
- Prepare reports, cost estimates, and project documentation.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (MEP specialization preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an MEP Engineer in construction or building services projects.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other design software.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with project management and coordination.
- Knowledge of energy-efficient and sustainable building practices.
- Professional certification in MEP engineering (e.g., PMP, PE) is an advantage.
