Job Description
We are looking for a MEP Engineer with a BE/B.Tech in EEE / Electrical Engineering (or allied disciplines), having hands-on experience in MEP services for civil construction, specifically high-rise residential and commercial towers.
The candidate will be responsible for design coordination, site execution monitoring, services integration, and commissioning of all building services — including electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, drainage, water supply, fire-fighting networks, and ELV systems — ensuring seamless interface with structural and architectural works.

Key Responsibilities (Civil Construction–Focused)
1. Technical Design Coordination
- Review and interpret all MEP drawings: electrical SLDs, lighting layouts, cable routing, HVAC layouts, ducting plans, riser diagrams, fire-fighting networks, water supply & drainage layouts.
- Validate consultant drawings with architectural and structural GFC drawings to avoid clashes in shafts, corridors, basements, service floors, and vertical risers.

- HT/LT Panels, transformers, DG sets, earthing systems, rising mains, bus ducts, shaft cabling
- HVAC equipment (VRF/VRV units, AHUs, FCUs, chilled water piping, ducting)
- Plumbing systems (water supply, drainage, SWR, vent pipes, sump pumps, booster pumps)
- Fire-fighting services (hydrant lines, sprinkler mains, pump rooms, fire alarm systems)
- Ensure MEP installation is synchronized with civil operations like:
- shuttering works
- slab casting
- core wall works
- masonry
- finishing (gypsum, POP, false ceiling, tiling)
- Verify that sleeves, inserts, conduits, and hangers are installed prior to RCC casting to avoid rework.
3. Quality & Safety Compliance
- Ensure all works comply with:
- NBC
- IS Codes
- IEC standards
- ASHRAE (for HVAC)
- NFPA (for fire-fighting)
- Conduct routine inspection of workmanship for electrical conduiting, pressure testing of plumbing lines, duct leak tests, insulation quality, earthing resistance, and firefighting pump performance.
4. Services Integration & Coordination
- Conduct MEP coordination meetings with subcontractors for resolving routing conflicts between:
- ducts
- cable trays
- plumbing lines
- fire pipelines
- Coordinate service shafts, mechanical floors, pump rooms, electrical rooms, DG rooms, HVAC plant rooms, and utility areas to ensure proper space planning.

5. Testing, Commissioning & Handover
- Prepare T&C schedules for:
- electrical distribution systems
- HVAC systems
- plumbing & STP/RO systems
- fire-fighting networks (hydrant pressure test, sprinkler flow test)
- Conduct pre-commissioning and final commissioning trials and obtain statutory clearances for electrical and fire systems.
- Prepare as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and handover documentation.
6. Vendor, Material & Cost Management
- Review technical submittals, shop drawings, datasheets, catalogue selections for all MEP equipment.
- Ensure procurement and delivery of materials (cables, pumps, valves, VFDs, sprinkler heads, GI/HDPE pipes, VRF units) according to project specifications.
