MEP Engineer

We are seeking an experienced MEP Engineer to support the design function by reviewing, coordinating, and developing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems for residential, mixed-use, and master-planned developments .

Key Responsibilities

MEP Design Review & Coordination

• Review MEP design submissions to ensure compliance with project standards, codes, and sustainability requirements.
• Coordinate MEP designs with architectural, structural, and infrastructure disciplines.
• Identify design clashes and technical gaps and support resolution with consultants.
• Ensure MEP systems are optimized for performance, constructability, and cost efficiency.

Technical Support & Compliance

• Review RFIs, technical queries, and site-related design issues from an MEP perspective.
• Support compliance with local authority requirements and applicable codes.
• Ensure designs align with energy efficiency and sustainability objectives where applicable.

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare technical review comments and design coordination reports.
• Support preparation of MEP design criteria, specifications, and employer’s requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation and record control in alignment with PMO standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience, with at least 4 years in real estate development roles.
• Experience in residential, mixed-use, or master-planned developments.
• Strong background in MEP design coordination and engineering review.
• Experience working with consultants and contractors in the GCC market.
• Professional certifications such as LEED, CEM, PMP, or equivalent are an advantage.
• Strong proficiency in English; Arabic is preferred.
