MEP Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced MEP Engineer with strong high-rise building experience in the UAE. The candidate will be responsible for design coordination, execution, testing, and commissioning of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems, ensuring compliance with UAE codes and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate MEP works for high-rise residential/commercial towers
• Review and approve MEP shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements
• Ensure compliance with UAE authorities (DEWA, ADDC, DM, Civil Defense, Estidama/Trakhees where applicable)
• Coordinate with consultants, architects, structural engineers, and contractors
• Supervise site execution, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence
• Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems
• Resolve site technical issues and provide engineering solutions
• Monitor subcontractor performance and progress
• Prepare reports, as-built drawings, and handover documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 7–10 years of relevant MEP experience, with high-rise projects
• Minimum 5 years UAE experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire fighting systems
• Familiar with UAE building codes and authority approvals
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit (BIM knowledge is a plus)
• Strong coordination, communication, and leadership skills

• Experience with towers, mixed-use developments, or large residential projects
• Immediate or short-notice availability
