MEP Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced MEP Engineer with a strong background in construction MEP works to manage, coordinate, and supervise mechanical, electrical, and plumbing activities on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate MEP construction activities on-site.
• Review MEP drawings, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Coordinate with civil, architectural, and subcontractor teams to resolve site issues.
• Ensure installation of MEP systems in compliance with approved drawings and standards.
• Monitor project progress and report on schedules and site activities.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems.
• Ensure compliance with authority regulations, safety standards, and project requirements.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate with consultants and clients.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and technical documentation.
• Identify and resolve technical issues during construction.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical / electrical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in construction MEP works.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, and ELV systems.
• Experience working on commercial, residential, or mixed-use projects.
• Familiarity with local authority approvals and codes (UAE preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
