Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced MEP Engineer with a strong background in construction MEP works to manage, coordinate, and supervise mechanical, electrical, and plumbing activities on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate MEP construction activities on-site.
- Review MEP drawings, specifications, and shop drawings.
- Coordinate with civil, architectural, and subcontractor teams to resolve site issues.
- Ensure installation of MEP systems in compliance with approved drawings and standards.
- Monitor project progress and report on schedules and site activities.
- Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems.
- Ensure compliance with authority regulations, safety standards, and project requirements.
- Attend site meetings and coordinate with consultants and clients.
- Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and technical documentation.
- Identify and resolve technical issues during construction.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical / electrical engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in construction MEP works.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, and ELV systems.
- Experience working on commercial, residential, or mixed-use projects.
- Familiarity with local authority approvals and codes (UAE preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Proficient in MS Office; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
