MEP Engineer

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented MEP Estimator to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works, reviewing tender documents, and supporting the pre-contract and procurement process to ensure competitive and profitable bids.

Key Responsibilities:

Review tender drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract documents.

Prepare detailed cost estimates for MEP systems (HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, electrical, ELV).

Perform quantity take-offs and material costing.

Analyze supplier and subcontractor quotations and prepare comparison reports.

Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams for technical and commercial clarifications.

Identify risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving measures.

Prepare tender submissions, including technical and commercial proposals.

Maintain and update cost databases, unit rates, and estimation tools.

Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits when required.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in MEP estimation within a construction or contracting company.

Strong knowledge of MEP systems, materials, and local market rates.

Proficiency in estimation software and MS Excel.

Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Familiarity with UAE authority regulations and standards.

Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tender deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in high-rise, commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects in the UAE.

Knowledge of value engineering and cost control practices.

Familiarity with software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or cost estimation tools.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
