MEP Engineer

A&M International is currently seeking a skilled and experienced MEP Engineer to join our team in the United Arab Emirates. We are looking for a motivated professional with strong technical expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems and a proven ability to manage, coordinate, and supervise MEP works throughout all project phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities on-site.
• Review and interpret MEP drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure proper execution.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Monitor project progress and ensure MEP works are completed according to approved schedules and quality standards.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks to verify compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Identify technical issues and provide effective engineering solutions to maintain project timelines.
• Prepare progress reports, technical submittals, method statements, and project documentation.
• Ensure all MEP installations comply with UAE regulations, local authority requirements, and industry best practices.
• Monitor material procurement, equipment installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards at all times.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of MEP experience within the United Arab Emirates.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and ELV systems.
• Experience in coordinating MEP works for residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
• Excellent understanding of UAE construction regulations, codes, and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and relevant engineering software.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
• UAE Driving License is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in high-rise, commercial, residential, hospitality, or mixed-use developments.
• Knowledge of testing, commissioning, and handover procedures.
• Familiarity with local authority approvals and project compliance requirements.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary and multicultural project teams.
