MEP ENGINEER BDM

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated MEP Engineer with Business Development expertise to join our team. This hybrid role involves both technical engineering responsibilities and driving business growth. The ideal candidate will have strong MEP knowledge and proven ability to develop client relationships, prepare proposals, and expand market presence.

Key ResponsibilitiesMEP Engineering

• Design, review, and coordinate MEP systems for residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
• Prepare engineering calculations, technical drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project managers to ensure design accuracy.
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and quality control checks.
• Provide technical support during project execution and resolve issues promptly.

Business Development

• Identify new business opportunities in the MEP, construction, and engineering sectors.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and developers.
• Prepare proposals, bids, and presentations to secure new projects.
• Conduct market research to track trends and competitor activities.
• Meet sales targets and contribute to the company’s growth strategy.
• Represent the company at industry events, meetings, and conferences.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (MEP focus preferred).
• Proven experience in MEP engineering and business development.
• Strong understanding of MEP design standards, codes, and industry practices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other engineering software (preferred).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Strong network in the construction/MEP industry.
• Experience preparing technical and commercial proposals.
• Knowledge of project costing and tendering processes.
• Self-motivated, strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
