MEP Engineer (Building Construction)

MEP Engineer are responsible for analysing plans and performing inspections, as well as providing input on the installation process and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. This involves ensuring equipment meets all building codes and safety regulations, and that necessary modifications are implemented.

· Design and Drafting: Creating plans for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and designing solutions for existing problems.

· Inspection: Conducting regular inspections and checks of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and ensuring all building code requirements are met.

· Installation: Assisting or overseeing the installation of equipment and systems.

· Maintenance: Performing regular maintenance to ensure optimal functioning of equipment.

· Regulations: Staying abreast of new regulations and ensuring all systems comply.

· Collaboration: Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other professionals in the building industry.

Skills and Qualifications

MEP Engineer need to have a deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and the ability to work on them independently. They should also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as an eye for detail and accuracy.
