MEP Engineer-Fit out

The MEP Engineer for Fit-Out Projects is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems integration within interior fit-out works. The role ensures that all MEP installations are executed in compliance with project specifications, quality standards, timelines, and safety regulations.

• Must have experience with DDA, DM, TRAKHEES, DEWA, and DCD, and strong knowledge of MEP codes and regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, HAP, and other MEP software is essential.
• Should possess excellent communication and coordination skills and the ability to deliver quality work on time.
• Responsibilities include designing and reviewing MEP systems (HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting, Electrical) using AutoCAD and Revit MEP software.
• Prepare technical drawings, BOQs, and specifications while ensuring local compliance.
• Coordination with architects, engineers, and contractors is necessary to resolve clashes and optimize layouts.
• Conduct site inspections, supervise installations, and ensure adherence to design and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot design and site issues, providing timely solutions, and review contractor submissions and material approvals

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (or related discipline)
• Minimum [3–6] years of experience in MEP roles within interior fit-out projects
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems
• Familiarity with local authority regulations and approval processes
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and MEP design tools
• Excellent organizational and communication skills

Preferred:

• Experience working in fast-paced commercial or retail fit-out environments
• Preferred Mechanical background
• Only UAE Experience candidate is preferred.
