Responsibilities of an MEP Site Engineer
1. Planning & Coordination
- Study drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project requirements before execution.
- Plan daily, weekly, and monthly work schedules for MEP activities.
- Coordinate with civil and finishing teams for service clearances (slab openings, wall sleeves, trenching, etc.).
- Arrange necessary manpower, materials, and tools at the site.
2. Supervision & Execution
- Monitor and supervise installation of HVAC, electrical panels, lighting, power, plumbing, drainage, fire alarm, firefighting, and other MEP systems.
- Ensure works are executed according to approved shop drawings, method statements, and safety standards.
- Check site progress against project timelines and report delays.
- Conduct inspections and provide solutions for site-related problems.
3. Quality & Safety Assurance
- Verify quality of materials delivered to site as per approved material submittals.
- Ensure proper testing, commissioning, and inspection of systems before handover.
- Enforce health and safety standards during installation activities.
- Ensure all works are in compliance with local authority regulations (DEWA, DCD, etc., depending on region).
4. Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare daily site reports, progress updates, and manpower logs.
- Document inspection requests (IRs), request for information (RFIs), and non-conformance reports (NCRs) if needed.
- Assist in preparing as-built drawings and operation & maintenance manuals for handover.
5. Coordination with Stakeholders
- Attend coordination meetings with consultants, contractors, and clients.
- Resolve site clashes through coordination drawings (MEP vs. Civil/Architectural).
- Communicate technical issues and solutions effectively to management.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
