MEP Engineer – Interior Fit-Out

We are looking for a qualified MEP Engineer with strong experience in interior fit-out projects, capable of handling mechanical, electrical, and plumbing coordination, reviewing drawings, supervising site work, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and authority standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and validate MEP drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings for interior fit-out projects.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal project teams to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure all MEP installations are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and authority regulations.
• Conduct site inspections, monitor progress, and ensure proper implementation of MEP works.
• Prepare and review load calculations, material submissions, method statements, and technical reports.
• Identify MEP requirements for each project and provide accurate inputs to the design and procurement teams.
• Manage and follow up on material deliveries, subcontractors, and installation schedules.
• Ensure all MEP systems—HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, firefighting—are properly tested and commissioned.
• Maintain documentation for inspections, approvals, and QA/QC compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3–6 years of MEP experience, with at least 2 years in interior fit-out (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of UAE authority standards (DEWA, DCD, DM, etc.).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MEP software, and MS Office.
• Strong problem-solving, coordination, and site supervision skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
