Employment Type: Full-Time (Project-Based for 6 months minimum)About the Role

We are seeking an experienced MEP Engineer / Coordinator to join our team for a high-profile rehabilitation project at Headthe quarters building, Doha, Qatar.
This role is coordination-focused, acting as the key technical link between the Client, Consultant, Facilities Management, Authorities, MEP Subcontractor, and our Civil Team during concrete repair and soffit rehabilitation works in a live banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the single-point MEP coordinator between Client, Consultant, FM, MEP subcontractors, and system vendors.
• Lead planning, coordination, and execution of MEP/ICT dismantling, temporary rerouting, protection, and reinstatement works.
• Coordinate shutdowns, isolations, permits to work (PTW), method statements, and risk assessments.
• Ensure protection and continuity of critical systems (Electrical, HVAC, Fire Alarm, Fire Fighting, ELV, ICT, BMS, CCTV, Access Control).
• Coordinate with Client-approved vendors for sensitive systems and authority-related services.
• Supervise reinstatement works following civil concrete repairs and curing.
• Lead inspections, testing & commissioning (T&C), and system handover.
• Ensure compliance with QCDD regulations, authority approvals, and project specifications.
• Support preparation of as-built drawings and close-out documentation.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years experience in MEP works within live buildings.
• Strong experience in rehabilitation, refurbishment, or retrofit projects.
• Proven background in MEP coordination involving banking, commercial, or mission-critical facilities.
• Solid knowledge of QCDD, PTW systems, and authority coordination.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and decision-making skills.
