Job Description

CEG International is seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our consultancy team in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for mechanical design review and construction supervision across complex building and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and review Mechanical Design for building and infrastructure projects
• Supervise mechanical works on site to ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders
• Ensure quality, safety, and technical compliance
• Prepare technical reports and support project documentation

Requirements

• Education: BSc in Mechanical Engineering
• MMUP Grade: A (Mandatory)
• Experience: Minimum 15 years of relevant experience
• Strong design background in:
• Building and infrastructure projects
• Building systems
• Overhead cranes
• Sliding and shutter doors
• Generators and laboratory equipment
• Diesel dispensers
• Sewage treatment plants (STP)
• Proven mechanical design and supervision skills
• Consultancy experience is preferred
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
